Soso Danelia has been a Research Fellow at the Diplomatic Institute since 2018.

Since 1997, he has worked at the embassies of Georgia to the Republic of Italy and the Holy See, and with international organizations The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), The World Food Programme (WFP) and International Fund for Agricultural Development(IFAD).

While at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mr. Danelia was Deputy Director of the Consular Department and Ambassador at Large.

In 2015, he was elected to the Parliament of Georgia.
