Irina Dakhundaridze has over 17 years of experience working in the public sector.
In 2002-2004 she worked as a Chief Specialist at the Training Center of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. Since 2005, she has been serving as a diplomat of the Ministry of Foreign affairs of Georgia.
In 2005-2008 and 2015-2021 she held the position of a Deputy Director of the Human Resources Management Department and in 2008-2009 she was promoted and became a Director of the HR Department. The areas of her expertise include organizational development, training and professional development, mentoring and coaching, implementation of performance appraisal system, developing HR policies and motivation system. She also has an extensive experience in project management and working with donor organizations.
In 2009-2013 she was a Counsellor at the Embassy of Georgia to the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.
In 2013-2015 she was a Counsellor at the Department of Europe – Desk Officer for the Nordic countries.
In 2009 Irina Dakhundaridze was granted a Senior Diplomatic Rank of Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.
In September 2021, Irina Dakhundaridze was appointed as a Director of Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute.
