Tamar Gvinadze has many years of experience working in the public sector. From 1999 to 2006, she worked at the National Central Bureau of Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, holding the following positions: Senior Inspector of Information Processing and Technical Support Service in 1999-2002; Deputy Head of Information Processing and Technical Support Service in 2002-2004; Head of the Cultural Properties Search Department in 2004-2005; Head of the International Crime Fighting Department In 2005-2006.
From 2006, she continued her career at the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, at the position of First Secretary.
In 2007 to 2009, she was the Vice-Consul at the Embassy of Georgia in the Republic of Greece and Croatia.
In 2009 to 2011, she was appointed as the Consul at the same Embassy. After completing her tenure, she continued her career as counsellor at the Consular Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In 2011 and 2015, she worked at the Embassy of Georgia in the Kingdom of the Netherlands as a Consul.
In 2015 to 2019, she was assigned as legal adviser with international organizations accredited in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in addition to her consular duties at the same embassy.
