LEPL Leval Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute, operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, was founded in 2012. The main goal of the Institute is to support the professional development of the diplomatic service staff, as well as of civil servants of other government agencies and, thus, to contribute to the implementation of Georgia’s foreign policy strategy. For these purposes the Institute actively works towards implementation and development of qualification-enhancing learning programs for diplomats. The Institute also conducts research and analytical activities.
