On April 4th, the Diplomatic Institute welcomed students from Lund University

Mrs. Irine Dakhundaridze, Director of the Institute, commenced the meeting with warm remarks and provided an overview of the Institute’s activities. She also facilitated the discussion, which mainly focused on Georgia’s foreign policy priorities.

During the panel discussion, Ms. Khatuna Okroshidze, Head of the Division for Western Europe at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, provided an overview of the bilateral relations between Georgia and Sweden. It was followed by insightful presentations from Ms. Neli Shiolashvili, Head of the Division for the Eastern Partnership at the General Directorate of European Integration and Mrs. Vera Khajalia, Head of NATO Division at the Department of Euro-Atlantic Integration, who delved into Georgia’s EU and Euro-Atlantic integration processes. The final panel focused on Georgia’s relations with neighboring countries, presented by the Counsellor of the Division for Neighboring Countries at the Department of Europe.

The discussion concluded with an engaging Q&A session.

The meeting was held within the frames of the visit of the students to Georgia, organized by the Association of Foreign Affairs in Lund (UPF).
