A Memorandum of Understanding was singed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic on cooperation in the field of diplomatic training

On 15 February a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic on cooperation in the field of diplomatic training.

The purpose of the MoU is to establish a general framework of cooperation between the respective ministries in the field of diplomatic training, where the Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic will cooperate by exchanging the information and documentation of the training programmes, as well as exchanging diplomats, experts and researchers in the areas of mutual interest.

The MoU was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, Nikos Dendias, in the framework of the official visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia to the Hellenic Republic.
