Lecture on “Advancing an Independent Philippine Foreign Policy in Accordance with National Interests”
On 31 October, the Diplomatic Institute hosted a fascinating lecture titled “Advancing an Independent Philippine Foreign Policy in Accordance with National Interests,” featuring DFA Undersecretary for Bilateral Relations and ASEAN Affairs, Honorable Ma. Theresa P. Lazaro as the keynote speaker.
The event began with warm welcome remarks from Mrs. Irine Dakhundaridze, Director of the Diplomatic Institute, and Mr. Alexander Nalbandov, Director of the Department of Asia and the Pacific of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Attendees included diplomats from the MFA and students from various universities, making it a diverse and engaging gathering. During the lecture, Undersecretary Lazaro discussed the foreign policy, national and economic security of the Philippines, and emphasized the significance of multilateralism and bilateral relations with the partner countries.
