On 31 July, The Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia in cooperation with USAID Georgia organized a presentation about “U.S. Assistance in Advancing Georgian Diplomats’ Professional Development”.

In the framework of the event the project “Human Institutional Capacity Building 2020 (HICD2020)” was presented, developed and financially supported by the USAID Georgia. The project is aimed at institutional development and strengthening of the Diplomatic Institute.

After the presentation, Chargé d’affaires of the United States of America, Ms. Elizabeth Rood, Director of The Diplomatic Institute of MFA, Ms. Tinatin Bregvadze and USAID Mission Director, Mr. Peter Wiebler answered participants’ questions regarding the needs and challenges of Georgian diplomats’ professional development.
