From 22 to 24 July, within the framework of Budapest Diplomatic Dialogue, Hungarian Diplomatic Academy hosted a study visit for a delegation of young Georgian diplomats.

On the first day, Miklós Lengyel, Deputy State Secretary, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. The program included lectures on important topics such as Hungarian history, bilateral relations between Georgia and Hungary, the principles of Hungarian foreign policy, EU enlargement, Hungary’s foreign economic and trade policy and energy policy and efficiency. Participants were also introduced to the scope of work of the Hungarian Diplomatic Academy. In addition to these educational activities, the participants had the opportunity to join a guided tour of the Hungarian Parliament and attend cultural tours, enriching their experience of Hungary’s heritage.

During the visit, the young diplomats were hosted by the Embassy of Georgia. Irina Tsertsvadze, Chargé d’affaires, along with her colleagues, provided insights into the embassy’s activities and key aspects of the bilateral relations between Georgia and Hungary.
