Mikheil Ukleba has been a Research Fellow at the Diplomatic Institute since 2018.

Since 1990, he has held various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and has served as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the People’s Republic of China, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and was Permanent Representative of Georgia at GUAM.

From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Ukleba was Minister of State Property Management.
