A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Diplomatic Institute and the United Nations University for Peace
On October 10, the memorabdum of understanding was signed by the director of the Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute, Irine Dakhundaridze and the permanent observer at the University for Peace to the United Nations Office and Other International Organizations in Geneva, Ambassador David FernándezPuyana.

Three decades since the restoration of independence, the newly emerged realities have facilitated the commencement of normalisation of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as Armenia and Turkey in strategically placed region of South Caucasus nestled between the Black and Caspian Seas, which will, in all likelihood, provide a significant impetus to regional development across all relevant dimensions, including international trade.
