On 25 February, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Soviet occupation of Georgia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and the Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute organized an online lecture by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Lasha Darsalia. The Deputy Minister discussed the events leading up to soviet occupation, their historical and political implications for the country while addressing current security challenge of Georgia. The lecture was attended by the foreign diplomats accredited to Georgia.
