A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and the Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka.

On behalf of the Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute the document was signed by Mrs. Tamar Mangoshvili, Acting Director of the Institute.

On behalf of the Bandaranaike International Diplomatic Training Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka the document was signed by Her Excellency – Mrs. Saranya Hasanthi Urugodawatte Dissanayake – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Sri Lanka to Georgia.

The MoU envisages strengthening the cooperation between the two institutions in the field of diplomatic capacity building by exchanging experts as well as implementing various educational and research projects.
