A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Diplomatic Institute and the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand
On 23 February a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute (DTRI) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand. The MoU was signed by the Director of the DTRI, Irine Dakhunadaridze and the Director of the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs, Thitiporn Chirasawadi.
The MoU aims to enhance the cooperation between the respective institutions in the field of diplomatic capacity building by sharing the training and research programmes, exchange of academic staff and students, as well as by implementing joint projects.
The MoU was signed in the Kingdom of Thailand, in Bangkok, in the framework of the 2nd session of Georgia- Thailand political consultations, aimed to foster bilateral cooperation and enhance mutual understanding on regional and international issues.
