Today the Diplomatic Institute hosted a lecture – “Advocating nuclear disarmament as NATO members – lessons from the past and possible routes ahead for Finland and Sweden” by Dr. Thomas Jonter, Professor at Stockholm University.

During the lecture, Dr. Thomas Jonter discussed the historical dimensions of Finnish and Swedish neutrality and nuclear disarmament engagement and its possible ways to navigate in relation to the nuclear dimension of NATO membership in the future.

The lecture was followed by Q&A session.
