On October 10, the memorabdum of understanding was signed by the director of the Levan Mikeladze Diplomatic Training and Research Institute, Irine Dakhundaridze and the permanent observer at the University for Peace to the United Nations Office and Other International Organizations in Geneva, Ambassador David FernándezPuyana.

Within the framework of his visit to Georgia, David Fernández Puyana held meetings with the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the senior officials of the Diplomatic Institute to discuss the prospects for future cooperation.

The Ambassador delivered a lecture on diplomacy and multilateralism for students of various universities who had gathered at the Diplomatic Institute on this special occasion.
